The First Layer

I suggest going to the notations page before trying to solve this cube.

First you should get the edge pieces set up so it looks like a cross.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure the colors are right. Red is opposite of orange, green opposite of blue. 

Now get the corners. you should have one full face.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now flip it on to its side and make a big T. Make sure the big T has no yellow pieces on the bottom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hold it like this: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now do the algorithm: F' D R' M R U' R M' R' M

Repeat the process until the second layer is solved.

Big T, algorithm. Big T, algorithm.

Now hold the cube like this and do the algorithm over and over again

until you get a yellow cross on the front face. F R U R' U' F' If you have an L shaped line hold the L in the top left corner.

Now hold it with the yellow face up and do the algorithm R U R' U R U U R'

Make it a yellow cross make sure the edge pieces are in the right place.

Do the algorithm U R U' L' U R' U' L Keep on doing that algorithm until two corner pieces are in place or until your

cube's corner pieces are in the right spot, wrong direction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now do the algorithm R U' U' R' U' R U' R' L' U U L U L' U L

Over and over again untill you get it solved. Make sure you are holding an unsolved corner, under your right thumb
